Sunnyvale, CA (November 13, 2025) – Silicon Valley’s TETRA Hotel, known for its premier food and beverage offerings, announces the debut of The Nexus Cafe by TETRA and a new beverage program in partnership with Oakland-based Mr. Espresso. Formerly called Coffee Manufactory, the newly updated cafe solidifies the hotel’s reputation as a destination for high-quality dining and connection, complementing its existing acclaimed concepts, Adrestia, offering Japanese-inspired California cuisine, and Nokori, a Japanese whisky bar featuring one of the largest collections of Japanese whisky and an extensive highball program.
The relaunch of the space and new collaboration with Mr. Espresso ensures guests and locals enjoy exceptional Bay Area coffee from a partner known for its quality and unique wood roasting technique. “We’re excited for those visiting the Bay Area as well as those working in the nearby tech offices to have a real Bay Area coffee experience right in the neighborhood,” says Luigi Di Ruocco. “We are grateful that TETRA Hotel has decided to build a local partnership by choosing Mr. Espresso and are proud to continue to grow our presence throughout Silicon Valley.”
The collaboration with Mr. Espresso brings a full spectrum of coffee experiences to The Nexus Cafe, inviting guests to enjoy everything from seasonal coffee drinks, to classic lattes and macchiatos, to traditional brewed coffee, including single-origin coffees, espresso blends, and house blends with organic and fair trade options. The Nexus Cafe’s three opening specials include the seasonal Pumpkin Spice Latte, Vanilla Latte and Cold Brew with Sweet Cream. Seasonal and some specialty drinks will rotate quarterly, offering guests something new on every visit. Bags of Mr. Espresso coffee will also be available for retail purchase so that guests can bring the experience home.
The Nexus Cafe’s curated coffee program with Mr. Espresso complements a menu of pastries from Silicon Valley’s The Midwife and The Baker alongside grab-and-go snacks, salads and sandwiches by TETRA’s Executive Chef Paul Rohadfox. Guests can enjoy items like Kaiso Salad with seaweed, little gem lettuce, tomatoes, sweet onion, Japanese cucumber and wasabi vinaigrette as well as a Lobster Salad Sando and a Katsu Sando, both served on Japanese milk bread along with seasonal fruit, crudite and carrot hummus, yogurt and granola. In addition to the beverage and grab-and-go menu, guests can purchase locally made food and drink products, including artisanal chocolates and local wine.
